Harris Teeter and Cafe Rio Now Open in California MD

Harris Teeter and Cafe Rio are now open at the St. Mary's Marketplace in California, MD
Reviews have been good so far.  Hopefully we can get Harris Teeter up to the Waldorf Area next if the Dunkirk location goes just as well.  Flood them with comments to make them open a location in Charles County!

End of Year Updates

We have come to the end of another successful year. I wanted to just go thru a few new tenants and updates on things I have mentioned in the past but people have missed due to them getting pushed down the list of blog entries.

Also I want to mention again that the comments are reviewed before they are posted.  These blogs get spammed so I have to approve comments before they show up.  I try to do that as soon as I see you have written something.  It is very rare that I will not post someones comment.  They would have to be very nasty.

I appreciate the input I receive from everyone.

Harris Teeter in California, MD is set to open January 24th. 

Sunbelt Rentals is taking over the former Victory motorcycle dealership on Crain Highway in White Plains, MD.  Renovations are being done to the building now.

The Army Reserve Training Center is under construction in White Plains off of Route 227(Marshall Corner Road).  This is a 90,000 square foot training and recruitment center.

SHARK BAR and SEAFOOD HOUSE

Shark Bar has recently signed a lease at the Pinefield South Shopping Center.  This is a new venture for this group so don't confuse it with any one else with the same name.  It may be a different group.

I hope to get more details in the future.

 Once Upon a Child is under construction at Waldorf Marketplace III next to Fosters Grille.  They specialize in gently used children's clothes, toys, and furniture.

CADILLAC CROSSING

We have four tenants so far for the retail portion in Brandywine and are working on the pad sites now.  Tenants include Verizon, Hibachi Grill, Serenity Nails and Chipotle

Brandywine Aquatic Center

The Brandywine Aquatic Center is under construction on Missouri Avenue off of Brandywine Road.

Habit Burger is under construction at the Shops at Waldorf Center.  Late Winter / Early Spring opening.

Baldus Retail Center

Baldus retail center in La Plata will have a local brand quick service chicken restaurant and a Davita Dialysis Center.  Rumor of Nick's of Clinton are false.

Currently Signed Tenants for St. Mary's Marketplace

Here is the current tenant list for St. Mary's Marketplace.  More tenants are under lease negotiations.
We are told the Starbucks will have a drive thru.  Harris Teeter is set to open January 25th 2018.

Please note that commenters are saying that Starbucks is leaving their current location there is no confirmation that is happening from Starbucks.

Harris Teeter Sets Opening Date For St. Marys

We have been told that the opening date for the Harris Teeter in California, MD will be January 24th 2018.  Date is subject to change due to any unforeseen circumstances.   Starbucks and Batteries Plus have also signed on as tenants.  More stores are in negotiations.

MOD Pizza Coming to St. Mary's Marketplace

MOD Pizza is the latest tenant at the Harris Teeter anchored St. Mary's Marketplace.  MOD Pizza is a fast casual restaurant.  Pizzas are made to order and the price is the same no matter what toppings you get.  MOD Pizza has over 200 locations in the United States and overseas.  This will be the first location in Southern Maryland.

Harris Teeter Coming to St. Marys Marketplace

A 58,000 square foot Harris Teeter will be the grocery store for the new St. Mary's Marketplace Shopping Center that is under construction at the corner of Rt. 4 (St. Andrews Church Rd.) and Route 235.   A Pharmacy is planned for the center as well as more retail and pad sites.

Update 11/9/17 Harris Teeter is set to open January 24th 2018.   Batteries Plus and Starbucks are also signed.
