Baldus Center Adding Retail Building

The Baldus Center is adding back the retail area that was destroyed back in the 2002 La Plata Tornado. The retail center will consist of 13,000 sf and will include a DaVita Dialysis center and mom and pop quick service chicken restaurant with room for one other small tenant.

New Tenants for La Plata

The retail center at 105 Drury Drive in La Plata is getting some new tenants and construction for some is under way.  Cold Stone Creamery and Tropical Smoothie will occupy space facing Chick-fil-A, Sprint will go into the former barber shop and Jersey Mikes Subs will take over the Sweet Frog location.  We are working to find Sweet Frog a new space in the La Plata area.  You should see some of the stores open up this summer.  Jersey Mikes will be the last to open in late Summer / Fall.  Great new additions to the area.  This center is located between Chick-fil-A and Texas Roadhouse.

Sonic La Plata Set For Grand Opening

Sonic has announced their grand opening date is January 16, 2017.  Be prepared for some traffic that comes with any new opening.  It will settle down after the newness wears off.  This is the second Sonic location in Charles County.

Sonic Coming to La Plata

Hey La Plata ready to get your Sonic fix?  The Sunoco station at Route 301 and 6 will be coming down soon to make way for the new Sonic location.  Construction will begin very soon and we will see an opening later this year.  As soon as they give me a grand opening date I will post it here.

Sonic Waldorf Grand Opening Set

Sonic Waldorf has announced a March 1st opening date.  Sonic Waldorf is located at the corner of Route 301 South and Mattawoman Drive in Pinefield.  There will be another location coming to La Plata on the corner of 301 and Port Tobacco Road with construction beginning in the summer of 2016.

Pizza Hut Carry Out

Pizza Hut Carryout has now opened in the Rosewick Crossing Shopping Center. They will also sell wings under the WingStreet name. #210 Rosewick Road, La Plata, MD

We have two more tenants for the Rosewick Crossing Shopping Center in La Plata. 
Citi Financial has opened for business in unit 226 and Pizza Hut Carry Out will open in the future in unit 210 next to the flooring company.
