MOD Pizza Grand Opening

MOD Pizza will have their grand opening Thursday February 8th at the St. Mary's Marketplace by Harris Teeter.  This will be their first location in Southern Maryland.  MOD Pizza has locations in Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. 

Harris Teeter Sets Opening Date For St. Marys

We have been told that the opening date for the Harris Teeter in California, MD will be January 24th 2018.  Date is subject to change due to any unforeseen circumstances.   Starbucks and Batteries Plus have also signed on as tenants.  More stores are in negotiations.

PetSmart Coming to California MD

PetSmart will be opening a new location next to Hobby Lobby at the Laurel Glen Shopping Center in California, MD.   This will be the third pet smart in the Southern Maryland area.  Construction is underway.  No opening date reported yet.

By 2020, the U.S. pet industry is expected to reach $96 billion in sales.  Approximately 56% of U.S. households own pets.  

HomeGoods Coming to San Souci Plaza

HomeGoods will be building a new store in the San Souci Plaza in St. Mary's County.  The store will be located next to Mission BBQ and The Maximum Fitness.  The Dollar Store was relocated to the other side of the shopping center to provide more space for the new build out.

MOD Pizza Coming to St. Mary's Marketplace

MOD Pizza is the latest tenant at the Harris Teeter anchored St. Mary's Marketplace.  MOD Pizza is a fast casual restaurant.  Pizzas are made to order and the price is the same no matter what toppings you get.  MOD Pizza has over 200 locations in the United States and overseas.  This will be the first location in Southern Maryland.

Hobby Lobby Opening Date

The grand opening date of Hobby Lobby in California, MD will be April 14, 2017.  As always dates are subject to change.

Cafe Rio Coming to St. Mary's County

Cafe Rio will be a tenant in the new St. Mary's Marketplace with Harris Teeter.  The restaurant will have patio seating as well.  This will be their second location in Southern Maryland.

Five Below Opens in California, MD

Five below has opened up next to the Staples in the First Colony Shopping Center.  It is located at 45033 Worth Avenue.  Five below has over 440 locations in 20 states.

Dunkin Donuts Open in Leonardtown

Dunkin had its ribbon cutting yesterday and it's open for business.  The new Dunkin Donuts is located on 22845 Washington Street in Leonardtown, MD.

ALDI opens in California, MD

ALDI - California, MD will open its doors November 5th 2015 at 44755 Oak Crest Road.  Ribbon cutting will be at 9 a.m.  The first 100 shoppers will receive a golden ticket containing gift certificates of different amounts.   Hours will be 9-8 Monday thru Saturday and 9-7 on Sunday.
