A few random updates I didn't want to post separately so here we go..

 

Grille No. 13 will have its grand opening Saturday the 20th at 173 St. Patrick's Drive in Waldorf.

Cheddar's is now open at Brandywine Crossing Shopping Center.

Xscape Theater is open for business as of 4/26/2013

Hancock Fabrics and Party City will be moving or expanding to make room for any new tenants that sign on and may require larger spots.  Sweet Thing Black Orchid Bakery will be moving in by Cafe Rio.

 

Jimmy John's after a long pause is under construction at Holly Tree Station in Waldorf near Popeye's. They should open by early summer.   For employment email Cathy at JJstore1850@aol.com.

New Brandywine Updates 1/23/2013

Happy New Year to everyone!  I received some emails asking for updates on Brandywine Crossing Phase 2.  As of right now we are almost completely leased which is great news.  We have one or two more pad sites left.  Advance Auto has taken the pad by Safeway gas.  Still on schedule to have the buildings up by summer.  Cheddar's is the building out front that is almost completed.  The Theater will open in the Spring and someone will be on site for employment by the end of January from what we were told.  Hopefully we will continue in the new year with the same success.  I appreciate all the positive comments and will continue to bring you the latest updates as soon as I hear about them.

UPDATE: Theater will be called Xscape and it's owned by Aliance Entertainment not Regal.
They are accepting applications on site now

Hanabi Japanese Steak House is also included in the new phase.

Fuddruckers Coming to Brandywine

Fuddruckers has signed on as the next tenant for Brandywine Crossing Shopping Center.  They will be located in phase 2 which is currently under construction.  We expect a late 2013 opening time but will keep you posted as usual as things progress.  Other tenants include Hershey's Ice Cream, Philly Flash, Wing Heaven, Mc Donald's, Cheddar's, Xscape Theatre, Car Max, and more to come.


UPDATE 10-27-14  They plan to open by mid November 2014

New Updates

Just a few updates on some things I get alot of questions about:

Mom's Organic Market has begun construction and they finally put up a coming soon banner.  They should open in a few months, no set date yet.

Roomstore will close and Bobs Furniture will be taking over their spot.  They are the 8th largest conventional furniture store group and currently have 42 stores.

My Doctor Urgent care will reopen very soon, they had a change of management and will be back with their quick service and short wait times. http://www.mydocurgentcare.com                              Like their facebook page:

Brandywine Crossing: Great Escape Movie Theater will open early Spring 2013, the rest of the shops will open fall 2013 or sooner.  Tenants include Philly flash, McDonalds, Hanabi Japanese Steakhouse, and Cheddar's.  Potential tenants include Fuddruckers, Advanced Auto, Carolina Kitchen and Einstein Bagels.  Those are not final so don't get excited yet!

Rosewick Crossing: Qdoba Mexican Grill has signed a lease for an end cap in the shopping center next to game stop.  We are also working a deal for pizza hut carry out and a few other tenants.

Walmart Supercenter is still on hold pending a court hearing for the annexation into the town of La Plata.  We should know something in the next 30 to 60 days.

Sweetfrog Frozen Yogurt in La Plata will open August 30th  They are now hiring.
