Harbor Freight Tools Coming to Waldorf
Harbor Freight Tools will be taking approximately 16,000 sf of retail space at the Waldorf Shoppers World. The space will be located in part of the current Burlington Coat Factory. Construction will begin once Burlington has moved to its new location in the former Sports Authority space. Burlington should move in October of this year. Harbor Freight is a large discount tool and equipment retailer and has over 800 locations across the united states as well as a large mail order business.
UPDATE: Grand opening is scheduled for May 15, 2019
Soft openings have begun.

There goes my paycheck, lol.
Nice!!! Still no Cookout tho!
Can you tell us what they’re building next to Harris Teeter in California?
I asked for information on it but they never replied.
Probably the other retail portion that includes Starbucks.
Have you heard anything about Five Guys La Plata moving?
I know they were interested in changing locations but did not hear if they found anything better.
Drive thru Starbucks , Panda Express, tropical smoothie cafe, & COLDSTONE!!!!
Any knowledge of what is going in the shopping center Lexington Exchange in California leased by SJPI? RC Theatre was built years ago and the front sign showing additional spots for lease has been up just as long. Seems all new development is only happening in the Harris Teeter shopping center

It's good they are attracting tenants to fill that space, however I'm surprised they are able to attract any tenants considering the state that shopping center is in. They need some pretty significant repairs to things like the facade. Not to mention the fact that it's 1970's outdated. Are there plans to fix it up a little with the move and new additions coming?
Lexington Exchange doesn't seem to be in any hurry to do something until it gets a good tenant. We have thrown out some ideas to them but they have not run with anything.
Waldorf Shoppers World will do a building facelift once it gets these tenants moved in.
Cookout would be a perfect spot for Lexington Exchange shrug...
Cookout would be perfect...shrug
DO you think we would get a Sweet Greens salad store in the Harris Teeter shopping center.
Do you know what is going in on Great Mills rd across from McDonald's
Sent a message to cookout but no answer. Flood their inbox with requests to come here.
Meh no cookout is fine the one I went to in a town I lived never got my order right I stopped going
Does anyone know what happened with this? Last time (September) i was in Waldorf Burlington was up and running in their new location, but no construction in the old location.
James Now that Burlington is out they have to break up the building into three spaces. That will require a lot of new drawings to split up the electric, plumbing and HVAC as well as other build out. They have to submit it to the county which getting answers and approvals takes a long time. Once plans are approved they will start building.
Why are they dividing it into three spaces? If Harbor Freight is supposed to be 16000 square feet?
That building is huge. Plenty of space.
Does anyone know when the grand opening date will be?
No opening date yet. Lots of work to do. My guess is spring.
I can't wait. I've used HB tools for a while and they're a great product for the price. People who have issues don't know how to use tools and having one in Waldorf will save me money.
Is the Shoppers in Waldorf closing if so who's moving in.
We have no information on when shoppers locations will close. According to news some will be sold, some will become Giants. I doubt ours would become a Giant with one down the road. Its going to be a while before we see a plan.
