November / December Updates

Hello everyone and Happy Holidays.  This time of year things slow down a bit in my business.  People are more focused on the holidays then leasing or selling.  So most of whats going on currently is all just a recap with some opening dates and other items of interest.  I will add more as I get updates.  I hope everyone has a fantastic finish to the year.

No opening date yet for Aldi and Harbor Freight tools.  This is going to take some time to complete the division of the building, separate plumbing, electric and everything else.  I'm thinking Spring of 2019 but we will see.

Shark Bar and Seafood House opening Second week of December in Pinefield South Shopping Center.

Little fish is trying to open by the end of December.  They are located at 173 St. Patrick's Drive in
Waldorf.

Fosters Grille is coming to La Plata in the former Red Oak Bistro space next to Roy Rogers.  They are expected to open in January 2019.

Clarity Coffee House now open at 4175 Indian Head Hwy Indian Head, MD.

Proflex Physical Therapy has opened in Waldorf Shoppers world near Burlington.

KabobBQ is now open in Waldorf at 2246 Crain Highway

KFC Waldorf - From what it looks like, they have everything in storage containers and are remodeling the restaurant.   Its not something that is really public information so its hard to know when it will be complete.

Adon Preeschool Academy is coming to Rosewick Crossing Shopping Center.

Panda Express now open at St. Mary's marketplace in California, MD.

Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa is on the way as well in the same center and will be located next to Starbucks.

Jersey Mikes is now open at the Shoppes at Apple Greene in Dunkirk along with Calvert Cleaners, Great Clips, Apple Greene Wine and Spirits, and Berkshire Hathaway Home Services.

Chick-fil-A now open in Prince Frederick.

Ulta Beauty will open in the first quarter of 2019 at the Wildewood Shopping Center in California, MD.

Tropical Smoothie and Cold Stone will open in the first quarter of 2019 at the St. Mary's Marketplace.

In other news...

Charles County is banning plastic straws and stirrers from restaurants by July 1 2020.  No enforcement will be taken until after January 1, 2021.  I have mixed feelings on this.  I have seen the use of paper straws in restaurants before and they don't work well.  I definitely don't like drinking from restaurant glasses.
