The Silver Diner is now open at the Shops at Waldorf on route 228. The place was packed for their soft opening and with the way we love to eat around here there will be a line for a while. This is the sixth one to open in Maryland. They also have some in Virginia and one in New Jersey.

Hi Chris,
Locally owned by whom?
I don't believe it is actually locally owned as in someone in southern Maryland. Maybe by someone in Maryland but I have no information on the actual owner.
Hi Chris,
Why did Qdoba in Rosewick Crossing shopping center in La Plata, MD close down? Also, is there a chance in the future that Southern Maryland would have a Cheesecake Factory or PF Chang?
Qdoba closed do to the franchise wanting the owner to start building their second restaurant as part of their franchise agreement. Unfortunately they just didn't have the finances to do it so they closed the one they had.
Don't expect those restaurants around here for a long time. Our population in Charles county would have to double.
A Cheescake Factory would be awesome! I'll keep dreaming...;)
