Brandywine Updates

Since followers have asked for updates to the shopping center I have got some new information.  As of now Hershey's Ice Cream, Hanabi Steak House, and Einstein Bagels have begun their tenant build out for their spaces.  Some of other buildings are waiting on final inspections before we can turn them over to the tenants like Fuddruckers and Carolina kitchen.  We have also signed up AT&T as a tenant.  We may see some stores open by late summer / fall.  More to come maybe next week.

In Memory of Mary Shasho

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my mother Mary Shasho.  Mary was in real estate for over 18 years.  She was one of the first women in commercial real estate in southern Maryland.  Mary helped to begin the Charles County Police Explorer program where she served an an advisor for many years.  She was also part of the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Waldorf Jaycees, Kiwanis, chamber of commerce, and many other programs.  Mary always went above and beyond for her clients and friends. She loved being with her grandchildren.  She was an amazing person and will be missed by everyone very much.  Love you mom.

Donations can be made in her name to:
St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Make A Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic, 10920 Connecticut Avenue, Suite 600, Kensington, MD 20895-1600

Silver Diner Waldorf Now Open

The Silver Diner is now open at the Shops at Waldorf on route 228.  The place was packed for their soft opening and with the way we love to eat around here there will be a line for a while.  This is the sixth one to open in Maryland.  They also have some in Virginia and one in New Jersey.
