Southern Crossing

Friends we are helping Lifestyles, Inc. with a new project in Charles County that will help the less fortunate.
Southern Crossing will help the homeless with shelter and stability for themselves and their family, provide life skills and work training, and get help them get back on their feet.
We are asking our friends, customers and clients and Business people to donate what you can whether its money, time or services, to get the project up and running. Many local business and volunteers have begun work already but we need your donations for equipment, air and heating systems, doors and windows, and startup costs.

Please go to the website https://www.southerncrossingmd.org for more information and to donate to a great local cause.

We appreciate your help and we know the community always comes together to help the less fortunate.

June Updates

Post #300!  Summer is here and new businesses continue to grow in Southern Maryland!  Do you like this monthly announcement set up?  I added a search bar on the right to help with locating certain interests.  Let me know!

Marshall's is joining the store line up at The Landing at Woodyard in Clinton.

Cold Stone and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is now open at St. Marys Marketplace in California, MD

KFC has demolished the old store in Waldorf and is building a new one in the same location.

Wayback Burgers will be coming soon to Waldorf Shoppers World.  They will be located behind Chipotle in line with other tenants.  Their specialty is burgers and hand dipped milkshakes.  They have over 130 locations all over the world.  This will be their fifth location in Maryland and the only one in Southern Maryland accessible to the public because the one in the area is on a military base.

Firehouse Subs now open at The Landing at Woodyard in Clinton.

The new 65,000 square foot 3 level Top Golf opens in Oxon Hill this Friday at 9 a.m. at 6400 Clipper Way.  This will be their third location in the DMV area.
Hancock Family Farms will be opening a store in the Town of La Plata near the Green Turtle.  Look for an opening date in July.

Lidl Waldorf has walls going up on site.  Still no word on an opening date.  I'm guessing late Fall.
The store will be located on the corner of St. Patrick's Drive and Smallwood Drive.  Updates as we get them.
