Aldi Coming to Waldorf


Aldi Market will be coming to Waldorf Shoppers World.  They will occupy a section of the former Burlington store which is moving to the former Sports Authority space.  Harbor Freight Tools will occupy part of the space as well.  Construction should start as soon as Burlington has moved all of their inventory over to the new space.  The Shopping center is also working on a remodel to update its look.

Aldi is a German discount grocery chain with over 10,000 stores in 20 countries and 1,600 stores currently in the United States.  They are no-frills stores and many of its products are their own brand.  Getting a shopping cart requires paying a quarter but you get it back when you return the cart.  Sometimes items in the store are only available for a short amount of time so if you want something don't wait.  Bring your own bags because they are not supplied.

UPDATE Grand opening will be August 15, 2019.

New Updates Good and Bad

Some good news and bad news coming in:

Einstein Bagels and Fuddruckers have closed in Brandywine Crossing.


Starbucks will replace the Brandywine Einstein location with a drive thru.

Verizon store coming to Cadillac Crossing in Brandywine.

Genghis Grill has closed at the Shops at Waldorf.  No word on if there is a replacement.

QCI Behavioral Health has expanded to our new building at 5010 Regency Place in White Plains.

Cheeseburger in Paradise has closed in St. Mary's



Big Mommas Soul Food has opened in the Smallwood Village Center in Waldorf

Kabobbq in Waldorf is stated for a early fall opening.
