Keeping you up to date on what's going where in Southern Maryland.
What happened to Loredo's? I never heard great things about them, but they were around for a long, long time.
They did have good food but it seemed like it just didn't have the following Mexico has. This location provides more access to a larger audience. So far the results have been great. I also like having more choices for food closer to our office.
Can you provide any insight into what could be going in the former Cho Cho's location?Thank goodness that is gone. Now Waldorf needs to clean up the rest of 235 leading to 301, including fixing the timing of the lights on 235 at Old Washington Rd and at 301.
Right now there is no tenant. The new owner is looking for something retail, perhaps a coffee shop or something like that. I think you meant route 5 that needs to be cleaned up and it does and is little by little.
Chris - I noticed yesterday that Clarion Inn in Waldorf is now closed. Are there any plans for the property? I heard awhile back that it was in consideration to become a senior living facility. With that now closed along with Bennigans and the Lone Star (where a homeless woman now lives) that little area is looking deserted.
Bennigans was sold to an investor but has no tenant yet. I have asked if the Clarion was going to turn into a senior facility but no one has responded to me. That has been a plan floating around for a while. The Lone Stars asking price is too high so it will sit until they drop the price. Its hard to get a bank to invest in a restaurant so that could also be a limiting factor.
Hi Chris, what is being built in the space between The Galleria Salon and Valvaline oil change on St Patricks Drive?
Kleen Wave car wash, nothing special
