The Captain's Table Opens

The Captain's Table Restaurant has opened in the St. Patrick's Centre at 173 St. Patrick's Drive in Waldorf.  This is a soft opening so be patient as they get used to their new location.  We found the food to be very good.  You may know their other location at 275 Lore Rd. in Solomons.  We are pleased to announce they have also become members of the Charles County Chamber of Commerce

I am afraid that this Captain's Table will not last much longer. It is always empty. I think the location is bad, and they did not really advertise either. The food was not that impressive, nor was the atmosphere.

Restaurants are very hit or miss and they are struggling to stay afloat. I agree that they advertisement campaign has not been very strong. I hope things change for them. Thanks for your comments.

Chris - The Captains Table has been closed for the past few days. Are they still in business?

They hardly had any business and as Beej said earlier there was very little advertisement; most people I talked with didn't even know they were there.

I went when they first opened; they had a large crowd but a majority of folk were displeased with the food.

Hopefully they can restart with a better chef and more advertising. If not, the Fish Market Restaurant in Clinton would be a great replacement. They have a lot of customers from Waldorf and great food.

It will reopen shortly. There will be some change in management.

I hope there is a change in the chef and menu as well because the food was horrible. Worst two meals I ever had. Can't believe I went back for a second chance.

There has been a change, it will open as a totally different restaurant. I will have more once leases are signed.
