Sonic Waldorf

The Sonic for Waldorf will go at the corner of Route 301 South and Mattawoman Drive in Pinefield.
This is the location of the old Exxon station.  It will have to go thru a approval process to do the drive thru.  It will take a year or so to go thru the system so its not a completely done deal just yet.  Another location is planned in Charles County.  Updates as I get them.

UPDATE 12/11/14 - Sonic drive thru approved by county for Waldorf location.

UPDATE 1/8/15 - Sonic will have two drive thru lanes and indoor seating.  Projected opening is Fall 2015.

UPDATE 7/30/15 - construction should start September 2015
 
UPDATE 10/8/15 - Clearing of the former gas station has begun.

UPDATE 12/2/15 - Site has been cleared and they are shooting for a early 2016 opening.  They are now hiring on the sonic website.

Fuddruckers and Hanabi now open in Brandywine Crossing

Fuddruckers has finally opened at the Brandywine Crossing Shopping Center.  Hanabi Japanese Grill and Bar opened later on the 22nd of November.  Carolina Kitchen is still on the way.

St. Charles Towne Plaza To Be Renovated

As I had stated before The St. Charles Towne Plaza will be getting renovated.  They have now announced the construction will begin March of 2015 and finish up in November.  We have placed some new tenants in the plaza like PC Retro Computers and Isle of Vape.  St. Charles Pharmacy will open next month and Ashley Furniture will open April 2015 once its storefront is built next to K&G Menswear.  Panda Express has recently opened their freestanding building next to Burger King.  This was a much needed renovation.  Hopefully it will be worth the wait.

New Retail in California, MD

Two new stores will take the place of the former Blockbuster Video in front of the Laurel Glen Shopping Center in California, MD.  The building will be reworked to add a drive thru for the restaurant. Look for them to open mid 2015.

New nursing home and assisted living for St. Charles area

Currently being built near the corner of Billingsley Road and St. Charles Parkway is the Waldorf Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. When completed it will hold a 67 bed rehabilitation facility and later in the second phase a 90 bed assisted living facility. Projected opening of the first phase is spring of 2015. We have 2+ acre lots available around this project for office and retail use.

UPDATE 3/17/2015 The center is called Restore Health Rehabilitation Center and can help anyone from 18 +  Some plans have changed on the nursing home side and plans are on hold for now.

R/C Theater Breaks Ground in St. Marys

We attended the ground breaking for the new 45,000 square foot R/C 12 screen theater this week.  It will be located in the new Lexington Exchange Shopping Center in Lexington Park, MD across from Wildewood Plaza.  It should take approx. 9 months to build.  We have also brought Aldi Market to the same center.  We will keep you updated on further progress.

Brandywine Crossing Update

As of today all tenants have had their spaces turned over to them to begin their construction.  We have just sign on AT&T as a tenant as well.  Hanabi is well under way and may be the first to open.  Usually restaurant fit outs take around 3 or 4 months depending on how fancy they get.  Keep you posted!
