Dunkin Donuts Coming to Prince Frederick

Dunkin Donuts is going thru the approval process to locate a store in front of the Holiday Inn Express in Prince Frederick.  The site is located at the corner of Route 2/4 and Old Field Lane near the firehouse.  There will be a drive thru on site.

Baldus Center Adding Retail Building

The Baldus Center is adding back the retail area that was destroyed back in the 2002 La Plata Tornado. The retail center will consist of 13,000 sf and will include a DaVita Dialysis center and mom and pop quick service chicken restaurant with room for one other small tenant.

New Tenants for La Plata

The retail center at 105 Drury Drive in La Plata is getting some new tenants and construction for some is under way.  Cold Stone Creamery and Tropical Smoothie will occupy space facing Chick-fil-A, Sprint will go into the former barber shop and Jersey Mikes Subs will take over the Sweet Frog location.  We are working to find Sweet Frog a new space in the La Plata area.  You should see some of the stores open up this summer.  Jersey Mikes will be the last to open in late Summer / Fall.  Great new additions to the area.  This center is located between Chick-fil-A and Texas Roadhouse.

Scary Strokes Family Entertainment Center Coming to Waldorf

After many complaints of families not having enough to do together, a new group has answered the call to help fill that void.  Scary Strokes will be an 11,500 sf family entertainment center located in the Waldorf Center behind the Silver Diner.  The main attraction will be a black light indoor miniature golf course themed with various family friendly monsters, ghosts, ghouls, etc. They will also have a state of the art high energy arcade with video and ticked redemption games.  A snack bar will offer quick service items such as pizza, chicken nuggets, french fries, pre packaged foods, and drinks.  Party rooms will also be available for rent.

Additional activities in the future will include an escape room, expanded arcade area, and other interactive offerings.

Construction is taking place now and they hope to be open late summer 2017.

Chick-fil-A Coming to Prince Frederick

Prince Frederick is getting a Chick-fil-A!  It will be located just North of Ruby Tuesdays on Route 4 across from K Mart. There is currently a house on the property so you will see that come down shortly.  Congratulations Calvert County.
