The Bryans Road Shopping Center has finally begun their renovations for the 122,500 sf center. The plan is to have everything complete by September 2017. No new tenants have been signed yet.
Grand Reopening is set for September 9th 2017. There will be an event planned.

Cadillac Crossing Brandywine
Land is being cleared for the new Cadillac Crossing Center across from Brandywine Crossing Shopping Center. The property will have a hotel, retail and grocery store as well as some pad sites for other uses. Best Western is the hotel but that may change. Verizon and Chipotle are signed on with more to come.

North Waldorf Demolition
So lots of questions about all the demolition of the Waldorf Motel, Restaurant and apartments. Greenberg Gibbons has purchased the 145 acres that was owned by Chaney Enterprises. They plan to do a mixed use development and bring high quality tenants to the area. You will also see the demolition of the Chaney building north of Sonic. A plan is still being developed for the property and I'm sure it will have input from the county as well. This will be a great gateway development into the county.
Grille No. 13 Is On The Move
Grille 13 will be moving to the former Mimi's Cafe in the Waldorf Marketplace. Work is underway to move their liquor license to the new address. This space will more than double their current location giving them lots of room to grow. No word yet on when they will open. Renovations have just begun.

Matapeake Business Drive Extension
Clearing has begun on the extension of Matapeake Business Drive behind the Brandywine Crossing Shopping Center. The road is planned to connect to Rt. 381 (Brandywine Road). The end of the road is already constructed currently named Mattawoman Drive. This concept plan shows the approved project called the Villages at Timothy Branch which would have around 1,200 residential units and some commercial. The land is currently for sale so no one is building this residential project yet. No word on the completion date of the road.

Med Express to Open in Waldorf
Med Express will be the tenant for the pad site in front of the Giant anchored Charles County Plaza Shopping Center in Waldorf. Estimated opening time is Summer 2017. This will be the second location in Southern Maryland.

Crain Highway Retail Center Fully Leased
We are fully leased at the Crain Highway Retail Center in Waldorf, MD. Here is the full list of tenants. We had a great team that put this together. The building was built by CMI in Charlotte Hall, MD. We hope you enjoy the tenants and we can't wait to do another one.
Hobby Lobby Opening Date
The grand opening date of Hobby Lobby in California, MD will be April 14, 2017. As always dates are subject to change.
