November 2020 Updates

I cant wait for the upcoming holidays.  Not a fan of the cold and often wet weather.  I'm also not a fan of it being darker when I leave the office.

Hope everyone is staying healthy and safe.  Interested to see what this month brings us.

Do you still like this format?  I felt like more people shared my blog posts when they were all separate.  It felt like more people got informed that way.  Let me know your thoughts.

And as always please be kind to each other.  Time to put up the Christmas tree!

Cedar Point Federal Credit Union has purchased land across from Target in Waldorf on Western Parkway for a new office.  They plan to open mid 2021.

Five Below is now open in Prince Frederick in the Fox Run Shopping Center.

We have been in contact with the owners of the former Lonestar restaurant on the mall circle and they are proceeding with a middle eastern restaurant.  Still a long way to go to get it up and running.

EDIT: Now Open!
Arby’s Waldorf grand opening November 9th in the St. Charles Town Plaza shopping center next to Crafty Crab and Burger King. 1130 Smallwood Drive.

Ledo's Pizza is now open at the corner of Piney Church Road and Billingsley road in White Plains.
11664 Billingsley Road.

Taco Bell will take over the former KFC on Great Mills Road.  No opening date is known.

  7. I like this format and your separate posts. I generally share the separate posts as I see them to a Charles County group. I like this format here as a chance to see large bits on information to keep posted on as things develop.

  8. Looks like they are tearing down the old gas station in Shopper's World. Do they have any plans for that site or are they just tearing it down?

  20. Chris, why hasn't the old HH Gregg distribution warehouse off of Brandywine Rd been leased? I would have assumed Amazon would have snatched that one up long before doing all the renovations to the three properties they bought over by the DMV. I have notice the Timothy Creek development is getting lots of land cleared the the road to join up with the Safeway/Costco is almost completed. I also heard through the grapevine that there is an 80 acre housing development going in behind Winegardner GMC, is that true? Any other businesses going in on the corner across from Safeway on 301/Chadsford rd besides the 7-11 and Taco Bell?
