Just a couple of updates on things happening in the area.
We have sold the former Lonestar restaurant to a group that is planning a middle eastern restaurant. They should start the remodel immediately.
The Raley's Furniture buildings in Waldorf and Lexington Park were sold and are being renovated. They are now owned by Regency Furniture but will keep the Raley's name.
Five Guys Burgers in La Plata will be moving in the future to a new freestanding building next to Panera Bread.
Coldstone Creamery is still going thru permits in La Plata from what I'm told. Its taking forever!
Do you know if/when United Buffet will be opening? I've seen a sign for it where the old Hibachi buffet was in Waldorf by Value City. We need a Chinese buffet again in Waldorf.

Im trying to get info on what is going into Wildewood. Rumor is Ulta but i cant confirm that.
Due to the fact that the town made rosewick hide itself from the road when it was built has not helped the center. We are working on developing the other side of rosewick so that should help the center. if we had been able to do the super walmart next door it would have been great.
Is there a timeline on completion for The Landing in Clinton? Also what new retail is coming to Camp Springs on Allentown Rd?
ReplyDeleteThe renovations are complete and they are filling in tenants now.
ReplyDeleteLidl grocery and Wawa are the only things I know of so far for Camp Springs.
Looks like Shoppers World updated their Loopnet listing and are showing 21,000 square feet available between the new Harbor Freight Tools and a new grocery store. Looks like a small format grocer - guessing around 20,00 square feet? Any idea who that might be?
