Cafe Rio will be a tenant in the new St. Mary's Marketplace with Harris Teeter.  The restaurant will have patio seating as well.  This will be their second location in Southern Maryland.

  4. Hello

Any chance we can get a Harris Teeter in Waldorf or even LaPlata? Why St. Mary's but not Charles county?

  7. Hello... this website is truly appreciated!!!

Has Zaxby's showed any interest in our area? Could you reach out to them?

What about a Hobby Lobby in Charles county as well?

  8. Zaxbys does not have a franchiser for the area. I spoke to them last month.

Hobby Lobby has not found a space they like yet.

  9. Chris,
I appreciate you updating this blog to keep us all informed of businesses coming to the area. Is there any chance that St. Mary's will be getting a real gym anytime soon? Like an LA Fitness or something comparable?

  10. I have not heard of any gyms yet for the area. I think if one did come that way it would be smaller like planet fitness.
Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it.

  11. Is there any chance of Barnes and Noble coming to our area? We could really benefit from one.

  12. Grrrreat, another Mexican food restaurant. That's exactly what we need...

  13. O good, another faux Mexican Restaurant.

Also I cant imagine how much worse the traffic is going to be around the Rt235/Rt4 intersection once this shopping center opens up. Its already a nightmare at peak hours. They need to stop approving these new developments until the roads can handle it or make the developers pay for traffic improvements.
