Sorry I had to get out of the area for a while and take a much needed vacation. Things have not slowed down. Looks like warmer weather is coming so there's that to be happy about. Hope everyone is staying healthy. Take some time out for yourself. Remember you are worth it! Be kind to each other.

Hi Chris - we just found out that the land next to the Army Reserve on 301 and Marshall Corner (Foxtail Place) in White Plains is going to be a junk yard for wrecked cars. How can this be??? The people who reside here were given no notification or a public hearing. Is there a way to stop this?
ReplyDeleteMaybe contact your local government officials and vent your frustrations? I doubt Chris can do much for you in this situation ...
DeleteGlad to see you back!
ReplyDeleteGlad you’re back!
ReplyDeleteHello Chris. What's going on in front of the Panera on Three Notch? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThe land will be used as a storage parking lot not a junk yard. Parking lot is a permitted use in the Business Park zone which that whole area is zoned as so there is no need for any public hearing. If someone wanted to build houses there or anything else not listed in the zone then they would have to rezone and that would trigger a hearing.
ReplyDeleteDirectly in front of Panera on the road is all utility lines so nothing can be built there. Could be upgrades to water or sewer?
Thanks. I meant next to the MedExpress right across the street from Panera.

ReplyDeleteCrumbl Cookies is a big win for the area. Don't think folks realize that.
ReplyDeleteI agree! Great place if you're not trying to watch your weight. The Twix cookie is my favorite.
DeleteChris,
ReplyDeleteNext to Panera ....I think they are talking about next to Med Express on 235 north bound side across from Panera. Contractor site work is being done but does not say what is coming.
Thanks, this is what I meant.
DeleteChris about next to Med Express on Abell House Ln is going to be a Harris Teeter Fuel Store #487.
ReplyDeleteWhat is going in just to the immediate south of Carabbas and Hampton Inn in Waldorf? The trees have been removed.
ReplyDeleteAny movement on what is going to happen to the former Sears store, and the former Shoppers/McKays?
Are there plans for the former Home Goods/TJ Maxx space yet? That's a big space and I hope it doesn't sit vacant like so many do in this area.
ReplyDeleteMcKays is back up for lease. Sears space is for sale.
ReplyDeleteNo Plans that they have revealed for the Waldorf Marketplace boxes. They say they are working on some leases.
There is another smaller strip center going in next to the hotel and carabbas.
