Fuddruckers has signed on as the next tenant for Brandywine Crossing Shopping Center. They will be located in phase 2 which is currently under construction. We expect a late 2013 opening time but will keep you posted as usual as things progress. Other tenants include Hershey's Ice Cream, Philly Flash, Wing Heaven, Mc Donald's, Cheddar's, Xscape Theatre, Car Max, and more to come.
UPDATE 10-27-14 They plan to open by mid November 2014
Wow, now what are they going to do about traffic?
ReplyDeleteI remember you saying that an Einstein's bagels might go in at Brandywine Crossing - is that still a possibility?
ReplyDeleteYes it's still in the works
ReplyDeleteSo there was a news story that the company building in Brandywine Crossing Great Escape was sold to Regal and the website redirects you to the Regal website. Do you have any information about this? Will this cause any changes to the new theatre?
ReplyDeleteThere should be no major changes to the theater. The company has just completed the acquisition yesterday. As far as we know it will still be under the great escape name.
ReplyDeleteWas the Brandywine theatre part of the deal?
ReplyDeleteYes all of the great escape theaters were included in the deal.
ReplyDeleteHow are you doing Chris, Big John Here in Brandywine, a question for you. Will the new theater which is now under Regal have IMAX. And when is the theater schedule to open.
ReplyDeleteJohn, I am waiting to hear back from my contact about any changes. Still a march opening date as far as we know. As I hear more I will post it. Thanks for checking out my blog.
ReplyDeleteSpoke with Great Escape Theater today and asked a few questions about the merge now that Regal has bought them.
ReplyDelete-They said they were still on schedule for a spring opening (march)
-There will be a name change to the theater
-There will be someone on site to accept applications in late January.
-There are some exciting things regarding seats, presentation and more that will be announced in the future.
Chris, anyword of a sonic coming to the Waldorf area?
ReplyDeleteStill working on Sonics for the southern Maryland area. Its been tough finding a good pad site with all the requirements.
ReplyDeleteAliance still owns this theater and it will be called Xscape. There was some confusion due to the online reports made on other sites.
ReplyDeleteHello so new einstein coming what will happen to rhe one in Waldoef will they be moving to Brandywine store that would be exciting also most of their staff as well Good people there keel it coming
ReplyDeleteHas there been an official date released for when Fuddruckers was going to open here?
ReplyDeleteNo official opening date yet due to the county permit process taking so long. Getting things done in Prince George's county is quite a task. We have to get the retail shells built before they can begin their build out.
ReplyDeleteHow do you apply to one of the businesses soon to open...
ReplyDeleteYou can try their websites however until you see some building start to go up they usually don't begin the hiring process.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the status of Fuddruckers?
ReplyDeleteAny word on when Einstein Brothers Bagels might open? The delay from the originally-announced opening (and from when the previous store in Waldorf closed) is stretching out quite a while...
ReplyDeleteThe landlord has turned over the buildings to the tenants to start their fit outs. we may start to see them open in 3 or 4 months. The hanabi steakhouse has the most action going on right now so they may be first.
ReplyDeleteIs philly flash still being put in the new shopping center?
ReplyDeletePhilly Flash backed out some time ago. ATT took its place.
