Sonic Waldorf

The Sonic for Waldorf will go at the corner of Route 301 South and Mattawoman Drive in Pinefield.
This is the location of the old Exxon station.  It will have to go thru a approval process to do the drive thru.  It will take a year or so to go thru the system so its not a completely done deal just yet.  Another location is planned in Charles County.  Updates as I get them.

UPDATE 12/11/14 - Sonic drive thru approved by county for Waldorf location.

UPDATE 1/8/15 - Sonic will have two drive thru lanes and indoor seating.  Projected opening is Fall 2015.

UPDATE 7/30/15 - construction should start September 2015
 
UPDATE 10/8/15 - Clearing of the former gas station has begun.

UPDATE 12/2/15 - Site has been cleared and they are shooting for a early 2016 opening.  They are now hiring on the sonic website.

    Any idea when the Waldorf/Laplata area will be getting a FIREHOUSE SUBS????? Im dying down here!

    That's great we're finally getting one in Waldorf. Got tired of seeing the commercials knowing we didn't have one within close proximity. Hopefully you guys can try and get a cheesecake factory here so fingers crossed.

    I sure hope the food and service is better than the St. Mary's Sonic. Hope it works out on that small space with McDonald,s traffic flowing thru there as well. We'll see.

    Chris any word on spaces for lease at the former Waldorf Thrift Store location? I see the new building is almost finished but if someone wanted to lease space who should they contact?

    NEW DUNKIN DONUTS NEAR VERIZON ON SOUTH BOUND IS NOW OPEN, and have a drive thru!!

    Saturday March 21,2015 is grand opening and have FREE coffee all day..
