R/C Theater Breaks Ground in St. Marys

We attended the ground breaking for the new 45,000 square foot R/C 12 screen theater this week.  It will be located in the new Lexington Exchange Shopping Center in Lexington Park, MD across from Wildewood Plaza.  It should take approx. 9 months to build.  We have also brought Aldi Market to the same center.  We will keep you updated on further progress.

  1. Traffic on Rt. 235 is a big concern with the opening of this new shopping center. Will one entrance/exit be enough?

  2. That's all they have. There is no other place to put one.

  4. We have not been contacted yet to look for locations. It's still too early since they just announced expanding last month. It will be up to the franchiser to pick locations if they have one yet.

  5. Any word on why Mimi's cafe in Waldorf closed?

  6. The bottom line on Mimi's is that a french company bought the brand and changed the menu and that destroyed it. From what I have read there were around 24 stores that closed.
