College of Southern Maryland Expands

College of Southern Maryland has opened its Trades and Energy training center. This center will help people get a head start of moving on to careers in things such as electricians, HVAC technicians and welders. This is an excellent move toward helping create a knowledgeable workforce and helping them succeed. Classes begin October 16th.

Taco Bell Opens in La Plata

The new Taco Bell has opened last week. It is located next to Advance Auto Parts.

This addition has a much nicer presence than the old BP gas station.

Festival Shopping Center is Getting a Christmas Tree Shops.

Construction has begun on the former Marshalls location. Judging from the construction progress it will not be ready for this Christmas.
