Habitat for Humanity now in Waldorf

The first Habitat for Humanity ReStore will be opening in Waldorf at 3270 Leonardtown Rd. They will occupy a 15,000 sf warehouse and large lot to store and resell building materials. Donations can be made as well. We are pleased to have been the leasing brokers for this transaction.

Chesapeake & Washington Heart Care Expansion

Chesapeake & Washington Heart Care has almost doubled its size at Old Line Center in Waldorf. The expansion has moved them from one side of the third floor to the other in a newly built out 9,000+ sf suite. We are pleased to have been the leasing broker for the building in that transaction.

NRL Federal Credit Union

The NRL Federal Credit Union has broken ground on their new location in front of BJ's Wholesale club and next to Avant Garde Carpet. We look for them to open in spring of 2010.

World Gym

A new World Gym is under construction in the former La Plata Safeway next to Outback Steakhouse. The Gym will feature a movie screening room while you excercise, separate areas for men & women to work out, juice bar and many more.

La Plata McDonalds Reopens

The La Plata McDonalds has reopened after a complete demolition and rebuild. The crowds are back for their mcnuggets in full force. A second McDonalds is planned for La Plata in the near future on the northbound lane near Chick-fil-A.

College of Southern Maryland Expands

College of Southern Maryland has opened its Trades and Energy training center. This center will help people get a head start of moving on to careers in things such as electricians, HVAC technicians and welders. This is an excellent move toward helping create a knowledgeable workforce and helping them succeed. Classes begin October 16th.

Taco Bell Opens in La Plata

The new Taco Bell has opened last week. It is located next to Advance Auto Parts.

This addition has a much nicer presence than the old BP gas station.
